Dear all,
As we trade festivals, farmer’s markets and fresh coast fun with fall, foliage and frost, we are excited to look back to an exciting summer at the Bay View Historical Society and plan for an eventful autumn.
This June, we held the Humboldt Park Landmarking. The successful event was very well attended and kindly supported by the Friends of Humboldt Park and Supervisor Jack Eckblad. And in August, our Historical Annual Walk was held at Humboldt Park. Many thanks to Ron Winkler and Sean Regan for their support of these important and enjoyable events.
I’d also like to thank Nancy Tawney for her ongoing support hosting Open Houses the first Saturday of each month.
Thank you for the continued support of the Board, membership and volunteers in the upkeep of the Brinton House, from monthly cleanings and lawn care to a landscaping project to further beautify the grounds — we couldn’t do this work without you.
